The Coolback bareback pads are made from pile fabric. These are machine washable and dryer safe. It is closely shorn to provide maximum cushioning and minimise slipping.

These are 100% wool with leather punches, a leather handle and girth billets.

Made by Weaver in the USA these pads are gel ultra suede. It looks like suede but has the breathability and added grip. Built in gel and 5/8 felt liner provides cushioning.
With a 100% wool fleece base, cut back wither, fleece girth and nylon billets these are quality pads.
Personal note. For the price I would expect leather girth billets, that’s just me. 🙂 Some horses find nylon irritating.
These are made in two styles. The regular peak at 24″ long and the high Peak also 24″ long.

Best feature is the 100% wool with the “Tacky” seat. Between these two is the Skito foam making these pads very comfortable.

These come in a nice selection of colours. Available in synthetic suede and real suede.
These are affordable and fit most types including the high wither types. 16mm thick. Felt lined so it’s recommended that you use a cotton saddle pad underneath. A treeless saddle pad can be used to create a spinal clearance on those lacking in muscle.
A good feature of these is the detachable girth system, so western latigos can be used. Plenty of rings for a breastplate, coat, leadrope etc.

These are available in black, green, navy and chocolate. Suede top with wool felt underneath.
Cut back for a comfortable fit, hand hold and front d rings for breastplate, not stirrups. Hidden western cinch.
My only point to note is these are huge! Measuring in at 25″ I am not too sure who they think will be sitting on board. In case inches are not your thing it’s just over 2ft. I have included this brand as my friend loves hers and I have seen a photo in use on a quarter horse and actually it didn’t look too bad. But for anyone with a short coupled type or a large pony, I would say it will look out-of-place.
These have a physio sympanova underside. Made from real sheep wool with large knee rolls and a soft cantle.
This model has the addition of pads that attach with velcro. One pair is cellular rubber and the other a soft pu foam. This creates a spinal clearance.
The girth straps are mounted centrally on skirts and distributes pressure over the whole area. D rings for saddle bags and horse friendly rigging.
